Trek for a Cure: Salcantay to Machu Picchu
Story
Cure Cancer Australia's focus is to find a cure for cancer.
In June 2013, I'll be taking part in Trek for a Cure, embarking on a trek from Salcantay to the world famous Machu Picchu site in Peru, to help fund cancer research that can save millions of lives.
I've personally been touched by the struggle with cancer of several friends and family members, this is a cause that is close to my heart.
The money raised from the participants on this adventure will directly fund a cancer researcher for one year. These researchers depend on help from people like you to champion their brilliant and innovative ideas that will one day lead to a cure for cancer.
All funds raised here will go directly to the Cure Cancer Australia Foundation (not towards my travel costs).
